A woman from the North Pole has tried to steal tv’s at least two times recently, both times trying to use a taxi cab as the getaway vehicle police say.

Lana L. Schneidewind, 27 has been charged a second time, for, according to reports, walking out of a store with a TV without paying for it and trying to flee in a taxi cab. Ms. Schneidewind was arrested back in December after she allegedly went into Sam’s Club on two occasions and allegedly stole $6,000 worth of televisions by walking out the back door and loading the televisions into a taxi.

Apparently the taxi driver from the before-December incidents didn’t get a very good tip because he is the one that ratted the lady out. She was just released from jail on this previous case last week.

In this new case, Schneidewind apparently also tried to reach over the taxi cab driver’s shoulder and tried to steal money out of his shirt pocket, court documents allege.

It is not yet known how small the TV’s are or how strong she is because last I checked, it usually takes two people to move a decent size TV. Maybe they were computer monitors?
